Recovery Residences
Too often, individuals entering treatment have faced instability, loss, or living conditions that have reinforced cycles of struggle. The Hansen Foundation set out to create a place that breaks this cycle by providing not only a safe and structured space, but one that radiates hope, peace, and possibility.
We provide recovery residences for individuals enrolled in Enlightened Recovery’s PHP program on the Main Campus in Egg Harbor City. These homes reflect a vision of healing that extends far beyond treatment alone. They are more than houses. They are sanctuaries where each resident is reminded that they are worthy of a safe and comfortable place to heal and where hope for a new beginning takes place.
We currently operate 10 sober living residences in the Atlantic County region.
Upon completing treatment, whether at Enlightened Recovery or another inpatient facility, we proudly provide those in early recovery with the opportunity to become part of our community. We believe that the first year of sobriety is critical and that the real work of recovery begins after residential treatment ends. That is why we are deeply committed to providing sober living homes where individuals can find stability, accountability, and a strong recovery community.
Our homes offer more than a place to stay. They provide an environment where residents can set down roots, build a solid foundation, and practice the daily habits that support long term sobriety. We are passionate about ensuring that anyone who is ready to commit to their recovery and grow within a supportive community can live with us and continue moving forward with confidence and hope.
Residents are required to attend weekly house meetings facilitated by our staff to discuss goals and voice issues or concerns they are having as they navigate early sobriety.
Residents must attend weekly 12-step meetings, complete house chores, uphold volunteer hours in the community, and work or seek employment. We operate through a phase program that is guided by staff, allowing the individual to slowly gain more responsibility along with their independence.
